Illinois State Conservation Police later announced that Richard “Ricky” Stevenson, a 45-year-old executive with Stevenson Cranes, has been charged with reckless homicide and aggravated driving under the influence resulting in death. Authorities allege that the crash occurred while he was operating a boat. The investigation remains ongoing, and, as with all criminal proceedings, the charges are allegations. Mr. Stevenson is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
